Families who apply for financial aid will be able to view their award amount before registering for a course. This helps ensure that families understand their available aid before making enrollment decisions.

CTY offers separate financial aid applications for each term — fall, spring, and summer. Fall and spring aid may be applied toward one online course per term. Summer aid may be applied toward one online and one in-person course. When the application is closed, you will see a short Financial Aid Interest Form in MyCTY instead. No financial documents are required to submit an interest form.

  • If you receive a financial aid award, your email will prompt you to log in to MyCTY and apply your aid to a CTY course Financial aid awards will expire 14 days from the notification date. You must enroll in a course and apply your aid at checkout before the expiration date

To apply your financial aid award while enrolling in a course:

If you do not apply aid to a CTY course within the 14-day window:

To ensure we can support as many students as possible, families must use their awarded financial aid to enroll in a course within 14 days of notification. After the 14 days expire, unused funds will be reallocated to other students who have applied for aid. If your financial aid award has expired and you wish to reapply, you can do so by following the steps above to submit a new financial aid application.
