The synchronous time is for students to interact with one another and the instructor. The sessions may not be recorded, and students will not be able to make up a missed class by going to another timeslot. Makeup work, if needed, is completed outside of class time. If a student is sick and misses a class, the instructor will give instructions for how they can catch up. Missing class should be an exception to the general rule. Students missing multiple classes will see that reflected in their evaluations.
