We have temporarily adjusted our proctor policy to allow a parent/guardian to proctor their student until further notice. Please reach out to your instructor for more details about updated proctor guidelines and instructions.
Please review the course description to determine if an online course has proctoring requirements. Courses may use online proctoring software that secures the online testing environment for designated assessments, or courses may require that exams be proctored by an employee of a school or proctoring center who is not a member of the student’s family.
If a course requires a proctor, options include:
- A teacher from another school
- A proctoring service/center at a library
- A proctoring service/center at a local college/university
- An independent proctoring center willing to proctor written exams
CTY is not responsible for paying proctoring fees.
